Well, for one reason Tamilnadu tourism sites suggest that if you want a out of the way, unique travel experience… then why not take some time and research all that there is to do in Tamilnad. They say for example that the temple architecture is amazing. Now India is Known for its variety of religious temples. However, Tamilnadu is one of the areas with not only the most ancient, but also an area with the most interesting of temple designs.

Tamilnadu is a state within India and interestingly boasts that is number two when it comes to tourism in the country. As mentioned there are many temple sites such as the temples of Chidambaram, Srirangam, Tiruchirapalli, Thiruvarur and many others. Also, the state offers visits to beautiful waterfalls, golden sandy beaches, and many excellent festivals.

Chennai is the main city of the state of Tamilnadu. It is India’s 4th largest in metropolitan size. This exciting city has wonderful beaches, architecture, and many diverse cultural festivals. If you like to shop until you drop… this is the place for you. Some refer to Chennai as the entrance to Southern India. It is easy to get there from all parts of India by either car, railway or by flying.

Another fun destination to check out as you search through the many cities and attractions that are found on any of the Tamilnadu web pages is a city called Tuticorin. This city which is on the sea offers miles and miles of sunny, sandy beaches. The atmosphere is tranquil and restful. You can snorkel away the afternoon or just relax with a cool drink as you work on that golden tan.

When you travel to exotic places it is advised to do some thorough research. The internet offers a wealth of information to help make your trip one that will be remembered for years to come. Most sites give you guidance on things to do, various places to eat, where to stay. Whether you are on a back- packers budget or a jet set unlimited spending spree, a little research could help you to avoid unpleasant situations.
